Hi guys,

I'm struggling with an maybe easily to solve problem but I just can't manage to do so. I'd like to use a previously simulated pressurefield as a boundary condition on one of my outlets. Therefore I imported the .csv file of my simulation. So far it works fine. The imported pressure field has periodic boundaries so in theory I should be able to stack it in my case in y-direction. I do need to do this since my Outlet I need the pressure field for lies in the intersection of 2 of these fields.

Now I'm struggling to double my pressure field. I found the "edit profile data" option but this just helps me to move the field around or to do an expansion which sounds like it's exactly what I want but it just copies the field around an axis in a circular way. I need it doubled but translatorical.

Any ideas on how to solve this? Hope you get my problem and I didn't describe it too poorly.

Thanks in advance!

John

Can you draw/post a picture of the outlet with what the profile is doing in cfx-pre (the profile is in purple), and markup/redraw what you want? I've initialized a profile on an inlet before but don't understand what you mean by it copies it in a circular way.

Thanks for your help @aero_head! But I found a solution in the meantime. I just manipulated the .csv-file in excel. Had problems with opening the file in excel because of regional settings in windows that created problems with list seperation but everything fixed now.

Have a nice day!
