About the integration along a line in CFX-post

Hi all,
I am currently using the CFX and want to make some analysis from my result. I want to make a integration such as y^2dx, where y is the value of a polyline. I know there is a function lengthint can be used in CFX-post, but it is only integrated along the location of the value y(polyline), however I want to make the integration along x direction. I can export the data of polyline and do the integration manually, but I wonder if there is any approach to deal with this problem by build-in function in CFX and I also want to know how to do a time integration. I greatly appreciate any suggestions and thank you very much in advance! Zhihua |

Not that I have tried that particular myself, but something close to similar. Try to create a new variable which is based on the polyline and do lengthint on that. Maybe that works.

Thanks Flow, what you have told is to do a integration along the polyline, I have known that and what is really I want to do is to integrate the variable of the polyline along the x direction. Anyway, thanks very much and hope to get some further information!
