I want to simulate a rotational disk in cfx which is affected by an imping jet.
My simulation is transient. I have two domains: a fluid domain that is stationary and a rotational solid domain. I want to plot average disk temprature versus time. these two domains have a transeint rotor stator interface. my results are incorrect. would you please recommend how to simulate this issue? Boundary conditions and two domains are shown in the attached image. |

I recommend splitting the simulation.
At first make a fluid only simulation, without the temperature field. As far as I understand your case, this should be possible with only one region, which is far easier to stabilize. From this simulation calculate the thickness of the Prandtl layer. With this Prandtl layer make a temperature only simulation, which is in fact some type of diffusion. That is not a problematic case.
