Dear Friends,

My modle has two parts, one little cylinder and a big cylinder. Mesh is generated in ICEM, tetra. Is it to know the number of the elements in each part?

Thank you in advance

eric

I am sure it is possible through mesher but one way is to import to pre, then right click on imported mesh and click mesh stats.

Have you sorted it? I got confused?

You could make them and import them in seperate meshes, that way in pre you could know the count in each part aswell as the surface counts. your mesher should be able to tell you however but i dont use yours.

Appologies for the sarcasm it was a bad day!

Thank you, Mr. Jon.

I tried. But I only get the number of the surface mesh.

If you have time, could you give me a picture of the result about mesh number.

Thank you in advance.

Give them separate body names like Fluid1 and Fluid2. Create a dummy surface in between and mesh the total volume. Get the desired mesh info from Info/Mesh Info. The dummy surface can then either be deleted or act as Domain Interface in Pre
