Dear all,

I´m simulation (CFD) a nozzle with farefield (2D simulation, ICEMCFD mesh) with ANSYS CFX. I´ve convergence problems with my nozzle. No matter I do, the solution diverging with:

Floating point exception: Overflow

after about 1000 or 1500 iteration.

Can anybody help me please? Has anybody an ideas or notes for me or valid initial and baondary condition for a simulation of an nozzle with farefield?

In 100 % of my about 200 simulations I get a leakage in the farfield.

Assumed the nozzle is left and the attached far field is right, then in the left above corner of the farfield the leakage develops and becomes from iteration to iteration larger.

Some steps before the the simulation crashes nearly the whole far field is empty and without streamlines. Sometimes the divergent part of the nozzle becomes empty too.
