Hello all,

I am using CFX4.4, try to implement and solve a set of delay differential equations, does anyone know whether it is possible for the user to recall and use old variables, from varying and different time steps from the same simulation? If not, is there other methods to implement the DDE?

Many Thanks, Joan

Gert-Jan will become famous soon enough
Do you really need help for implementing this in CFX4?

Absolutely. I have created a new post with detail.
Add a lag correction equation

You asked you question in an ancient query from 2006 when CFX had a structured version, called CFX 4.
Your new question (Add a lag correction equation) clearly shows you are using the newer unstructured version, called CFX 5.

Does this make a big difference to the transport equation?

Certainly, the physics remain the same but the software is completely different. Incomparable.
I don't know anyone that is using CFX 4. Too outdated.
