Hi,
No. CFX is a general CFD package that has general tools applicable to many industries. CFX almost certainly can do what you are trying to do but has a module specifically set up for clean room analysis. Glenn Horrocks |

Hi,
As I said first time there is no clean room analysis module for CFX. Talk to your local ANSYS representative about how to purchase CFX. Glenn Horrocks |

Thanks for ur suggestion, i would like to know is there any module exclusively for the clean room analysis in ANSYS. I am a student doing research work in Central Power Research Institute,Bangalore,INDIA and working on a project involving Clean room analysis, so can u please name that module so that i can directly ask for that module in ANSYS. Hi,
Sorry, you may have got false hope from a typo in my first posting. It should have read: "CFX almost certainly can do what you are trying to do but DOES NOT HAVE a module specifically set up for clean room analysis." There is no clean room module, however CFX almost certainly will be able to model what you are trying to do. Hopefully that clears it up. Glenn Horrocks |

Hi,Madhusudan,
AS Horrocks said, there are not special module for Clean Room Analysis in CFX. You can use subdomain to define the FFU unit that consist of axial fan and HUPA filter. The subdomain will be use to specify the pressure drop for the filter and pressure rise for the fan. Build the geometry in your CAD tools, DesignModeler, or ICEMCFD and then create the mesh for your geometry. Define the domain for fluid and specify the subdomain for your FFU unit and other boundary conditions. Best regards, |
