Assuming that you are charting velocity vs position:
1)Create a Line (under Location) using 2-point method etc. 2)Create a Chart, Select Type "XY", Define position as X-axis variable & velocity as Y-axis variable. |

thanks for your replying~!
sure,i creat a line using two points,and the X axis variable is the position along this line,~ but the problem is the "0" is the mid of the line, and the left side is negtive,and right side is positive,~ how can i deal with this? thanks a lot~ |

You want to shift the zero reference point to the other side of your line, don't you? If so, just create a new variable of say "Pos" and let the value be X+Xneg, where Xneg is the most negative value. Select Pos as your X-axis variable then.

yes,i get what you mean~!
thinking of that line,if that is a curve,should i apply that coordinate transform,ture the curve to line? and what are these really about,should i find some papers or books to find out?could you introduce some for me,really thanks |
