Hi,
My solver hung after 195. Iteration. In my Cfx folder, I see just the Out.file and below files see photo: 2.PNG also, I can see my cluster is working, even I have closed the Workbench, See photo: 1.PNG Can I recover my solver data and produce the res.file? or How can I start the Solver through the actuall data ?( with Out.file and etc...) |

Unfortunately not. There is nothing left in that photo that contains any useful data.
It is probably best to add an automatic backup file every 50/100 iterations just in case it happens again. You have to start the simulation once again.

Do you set CFX to write backup files? Look like no. Search *.bak files in the working folder. If you find this file you can rename it to .res and use as result file.
If you don't find .bak or .res files then set backup next time, before solver launch. All current iterations results are lost. And I recommend running CFX in standalone mode, not from Workbench. It is much more easier to manage different files in Standalone mode. |
