I'm afraid not
ICEM is not a very stable software, there are lots of things that can make it crash. Everytime I start a new model I encounter new bugs... Anyway: Always check that your geometry is clean to start with. Then check that you can do a surface mesh. If not get that working and go from there. And call talk to your support rep when all else fails. /C |

There is a limit on cells number based on the available RAM; when ICEM create an unstructured mesh, it meshes beyond the domain boundaries, then it cuts and refines the mesh; during this operation you can have a millions cells mesh, resulting in a "insufficient RAM" error (this is true for tetra, I don't know if your case is the same).
Try to divide your domain in more than one body, than mesh the bodies separately, or try to divide your geometry in more than one file, than mesh each part and merge them. Good luck. F |
