Dear all,
I am trying to select the most suitable set of physical properties for liquid water, with temperature dependency of the Specific heat, the Density, the Conductivity, the Dynamic Viscosity and Expansivity and so on... Considering the available properties, the "Water Data,IAPWS IF97" seems to be appropriate for my simulation, and especially the "Water 1" because of the temperature range. See the dedicated webpage : http://www.iapws.org/relguide/IF97-Rev.html I'm running a coupled Thermal-CFX analysis on a device submitted to a power flux, cooled down with water (that I need to keep liquid!). Therefore the aim is to assess the effectiveness of the cooling system with more reallistic physical properties. Finally my question : have you already used this data set or would you recommend using an other one ? I thank you in advance. Best regards Nicolas |

The IAPWS water properties are the most accurate and complete properties for water.
