Dear Sir or Madam,
As part of my research, I am examining a rotary compressor whose volume changes over time. The working chamber is pulsating, so that large volume changes due to convergence problems require a mesh exchange. Due to the well-known rotary movement, I have therefore prepared the meshs in advance and implemented the transfer via a configuration file in CFX and defined a working cycle of the chamber in several flow analyzes with the associated networks. When the information about the flow field between 2 networks is transferred, there is a so-called "mesh jump", in which the chamber rotates by a certain angle. From the CFX manual, I could see that CFX performs an interpolation when starting a new .mdef file with initial values. I suspect that the mesh jump is due to the interpolation. Do you have an idea how I can solve this problem with the mesh jump? I have attached a screenshot of my configuration file and a video for clarification. Thank you so much! https://www.dropbox.com/s/j396v1o17a..._Jump.wmv?dl=0 Best regards Last edited by Xiayang; August 13, 2020 at 08:01. |
