Hi all!
I would like to know how can i get my results, insert them in an Excel file and compare different cases and get some graphs. Is it possible to open the .res files in any way? I've tried making a table but i haven't succeeded. Could you help me please? Thank you very much. |

You can export all relevant data. But you will get problems if your Excel file has more than 64'000 lines (that's often the case if you export some data for every finite volume). Then you better proceed with a better tool like Matlab.

CFX Post: File -> Expor: Select the values and save it as .csv file. You can open that with Excel.

Thank you very much! That has worked quite well but I would like to get a table with two columns: the first is the time (or the time step) and the other one the variable I'm interested in. I have got those data just for each time but not for all the time steps at a time. Is that possible? Thank you!!

Easiest route would have been to create a monitor point in CFX Pre and then export from the solver manager.
Now you will have to write a script for CFX Post instead. |

Right click on the monitor point graph and click export plot data.
