Hi, I have got problem with modelling rotating cylinder filled with water. There is an air above the water so it is free surface problem. I set geometry with two cylinders (meeting). Top cylinder is set to be initially full of air and bottom cylinder has water only. They are rotating with equal rotational rate. I set an interface between them and have a problem with solving. Solver gives such a message:
*** INSUFFICIENT MEMORY ALLOCATED *** Error detected by routine MAKDAT CDANAM = ACS CDTYPE = REAL ISIZE = 4017008 Can anyone give some advice how to set initial conditions or other spects of the case? I would be very gratefull. Luk |

Try increasing the solver memory allocation factor in the solver manager before running your solution. It's in the help doc if you don't know where to set it.

Sir, Thanks for Your help. Actually, I solved the problem leaving one disc filled with water/air with use of step function for initiation but I am still interested in solving it previously described way.
