How can I change Theta?

I am analysing an unevenly spaced fan. I am using CFX-Post Turbo Tab to see how hub to shroud is for each blade. I am using single line, streamwise loacation mode. It turns out that no matter what blade I initialized the hub to shroud chart doesn't change at all. It seems like hub to shroud chart shows a specific blade and it can't be changed. And I found because I used streamwise location mode, the hub to shroud chart showed the parameters only at background mesh. However, whatever blade I initialized, the Theta of Background mesh didn't change at all. I found how to change Theta angle in the help file, which says to change environment variable to set zero Theta to be another position. Therefore, could anyone tell me how to change environment variable or any other method of change background mesh to show hub to shroud chart for different blades?
Thank you. |

I was doing a similar analysis, and I concluded that the Hub to Shroud function cannot be used to extract data of a blade/channel from a full annulus simulation, as the circumferential average is automatically performed on the entire domain, regardless of what the initialization is.
I posted a workaround here: Circumferential average in CFD-Post |
