Hi all,
I would like to create a sort of an egg in Design modeller. Therefore, I need an ellipsoidal body with three different radii. Does anyone know how to do this? I am not very familiar with DM but know how to draw an ellips......... Astrid |

Sketch it, then revolve it.

Yes, but the radius over which I would like to revolve is is not constant. As I mentioned, it is SORT of an egg, with three different radii...

There are a whole variety of 2D drawing tools. On the same plane, you can create multiple sketches, using one for reference geometry (such as your three cirles) and the other for the actual sketch you will revolve. For the working sketch I would use a polyline and contrain it to the circles.
