i did the wave propagation simulation, and plot the isosurface of the elevation, but i do not know how to export the the x- & y- axis values of the isosurface. i need plot X .vs. elevation, another one is timevalue .vs. elevation

thanks a lot for any suggestions and help !

To plot the X or Y values, either color your isosurface by X or Y, or create a contour plot of X or Y on your isosurface.

To export the values, go to File>Export, choose your isosurface as the object and pick X and Y as the variables to export (or check the "Export Geometry" button, which will give you the X, Y and Z locations on the isosurface).

Thanks a lot Robin !

I do it following your instruction,

For transient problem, i could get the timevalue .vs. Y tStep by tStep (export x y z each tStep), any more easy way to plot t~Y?

Thanks !

In the current release, Post will only read the trn files written before your backup file, full trn file, or associated with the res file at the end of the run. At version 11 you can load arbitrary trn files, but it is up to you to be sure the results belong with your mesh.
