Hi,
I ran a steady CFX and linked the solution of the CFX component to the setup component of a static structural system. I meshed the fluid domain in an external software and imported the mesh into the CFX setup. I loaded the geometry for the structural domain into space claim, made some corrections and meshed using ANSYS meshing. both the domains have meshes with the same element sizes. In the structural setup, I highlighted the faces of the inner surface of the structural geometry for the "Geometry" selection and "wall" for the CFD surface selection which are needed for the mapping process. I fixed both ends of the model with fixed support. When I run for the solution it seems to have failed and I get a message that "the number of nodes mapped are 0" but there is no indication as to why. Last edited by amsys; March 27, 2020 at 18:16. |
