I am receiving an error message in my workstation while running an "Omega Reynolds stress" based simulation of annular heat transfer in a concentric cylinder arrangement with inner cylinder heated and outer cylinder rotating.
My mesh is hexahedral with 66 lakh elements I initialized the model from a laminar flow result. I run it on local mpi parallel in 10 logical processors. I dont know that the issue is, I have tried reinstalling ANSYS 18.2, but same error is happening after about 60 iterations. I am also attaching the text file and error message pic also. Please help me ... |

The actual error message is an overflow in linear solver.
Check the FAQ's https://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Ansys_FAQ. |

Why on earth would you think that it has to do with the installation? It is just a matter of bad settings. E.g., I would never start a solution using Reynolds stress. First run it with SST and then restart with Reynolds stress, using a timescale factor 0.3.
