heat transfer: air in a room and water in a coil

Good morning to all, I have some problems with heat transfer. I have a small room with hot air inside (the heat flux is produced by viscous friction between air and a disk rotating inside the room with a fixed angular velocity); in this room there is a coil in which cool water enters with a fixed velocity and temperature at the inlet. I need to know the air temperature inside the room at the equilibrium and the temperature of water at the outlet of coil. I have also to consider the heat dissipation through the room walls (knowing the temperature outside the room and their material).
Can anyone show me a guide line for the solution of this problem? The copper coil is very thin (1mm), is it necessary to make the mesh of the thickness creating a solid domain? Many many thanks. |
