Hello everyone,

I have a Simulation (Domain with a Blade profile) with water droplets in a gas flow. I'm simulating with the Euler-Lagrange Model.

In Papers the Deposition Rate has been invastiagted multple times and is always plotted non-dimensional with the non-dimensional Relaxation-Time of the Particles. The Probelm that I have is, that my Data doesn't align with the Research Data (for example: Guha -Transport and Deposition of Particles).

The Deposition Rate is defined as the MassFlow of the Particle at the Wall (here a Blade) divided by the Area. I can get it via the Variable in CFD Post Water.Wall MassFlow Density. Here I use areaAve(). I can re-check the Value with the MassFlow Rate expressed in my .out-file. Both are the same. So I guess this way of calculating it, is correct.

If not, please tell me.

Furthermore I need the Wall Shear Stress to calculate the Friction Velocity for the dimensionless relaxation-time and dimensionless Deposition rate. Here I used the predefinied "Wall Shear" Variable. I calculated it via areaAve(Wall Shear)@Wall.
Btw my maxVal(Yplus) is 1.6.

Here also, is it correct? These are the only values that might be wrong. Are these correct, I need to think of other influences.

Has anyone done this before and may see my Problem in calculating these two variables ?

Thank you very much.

Daniel
