Hello,
I am trying to do a fluid flow analysis around a car. Whenever I make an enclosure on Design Modeler around my car, the number of faces double. This ends up exceeding the faces limit for the academic license. Do you know why it doubles the number of faces and if I can stop this from happening? By the way, I have tried making the enclosure on SolidWorks and using the subtract tool. However it was difficult editing the mesh becauses its just one big rectangular block and it doesn't let me select features on the car. I apologise if my questions are very naive. I have tried searching extensively for answers. Regards, Ashley |

After making enclosure, do you delete the original car geometry?
You should, as it is not needed anymore. |
