Hi,

I had a definition file created in ANSYS CFX10. I urgently want to solve this def file in 5.7.1 because the older machine didn't have V10 and the new machine is currently under maintenance for 2 weeks.

When I open this def file in Pre5.7.1, I get a long list of error messages and the physics etc are all blank. Is it possible to repair this file in order to run in 5.7.1?

Thanks for help.

According to my perception you cannot run it.It is always progressive it wont go backward. You can run a definition file created in CFX 5.7.1 to run in CFX-10 but not the other way around.

Sorry mate, Good Luck Regards, Rajit
