Hi everyone,
I am simulating 'Plugging' operation of complex tubular structure as shown in attachment. From figure, you can observe, the fluid domain will be very complex. In plugging operation, required boundary conditions are It is steady state case in which 1500 psi pressure is applied while there will be no flow throughout the domain since flow will be chocked at the bottom portion (shown in brown color). I want to analyze net force on mandrel (green color) 1) Now, for this operation, which model should give me appropriate result, since there is no flow, how to choose model? 2) In future, suppose I want to flow fluid with boundary conditions as inlet and outlet mass flowrate (10bpm to 20 bpm) , how to calculate Reynolds no, since lot of variations diametrically, and in that case which model to chose? Thanks. Regards, SANKET |
