Dear friends,
I made my model with Workbench and use CFX-mesh to generate mesn. My model is a cylinder with two open-ends as Outlets and a hole in the middle as Inlet. The length of cylinder is 14.7 mm, diameter 2.8 mm, diameter of the hole is 1.4 mm. The fluid is compressed air. Which settings in CFX-mesh are important to my mesh? Thank you in advance. Erick. |

haven't used CFX-mesh for a while, since now using ICEM, but I think to remember u need a global maximum mesh size and perhaps some inflation at the surfaces. The size will depend on the characteristic of the flow. If you expect high gradients, you need mesh refinement - especially at the inlet. Hope this helps a bit further.
