Does cfx use simple algorithm ?ie yes then frm wher to activate?does by CEL?

Hi,
CFX does not use SIMPLE, and there is no CEL options to turn it on. CFX is a fully coupled solver between momentum and pressure equations and SIMPLE is uncoupled - they are fundamentally different. Glenn Horrocks |

Hi,
It depends on what you are simulating, but in general a fully coupled solver is faster and more robust to converge but uses more memory. There has been extensive discussion about this area previously. Do a search of previous postings for more information. Glenn Horrocks |
