Hi i want to write output variables for a particular point .For that i have defined a source point.I want to write RMS value of velocity at that point.(i.e. in output file it hould give me RMS value of that point along with default variables like velo ,pressure etc ).How can i do this? In output control it gives only for monitoring the point but not for writing tha datas. Thank you.

Dear Uday,
You can monitor the value of a given variable by creating a monitor point at the location of interest (x,y,z).. The ANSYS CFX solver will write the values to the monitor file, and they will be displayed on the ANSYS Solver Manager.. If you still would like to have those values exported to a file for further post-processing (in Excel for example), just go to the Monitor Points tab in the Solver Manager and right clik with the mouse.. There should be an export option for all the graphs currently active on the tab.. Good luck, Opaque |
