Hi,

You can define local refinement using mesh densities and near wall refinement is usually done with prism layers. You can also define mesh sizes on points, curves and surfaces.

HI, If u r using icem-hexa then u can do the baising through edge parameters option. giving spacing 1 n spacing 2 with ratio 1 n ratio2. but if u r doing a tetra mesh then its best to use prism layers. but in prism layers, u can hardly get good quality. regards sridevi

if you are using tetra- mesh, you can also subdivide a prism layer into thinner layers.
