Hello everybody,
I want to display the Element Volume Ratio in CFD post. To repeat the definition of the Element Volume Ratio (according to Ansys Guide): "The element volume ratio is the ratio of the largest to the smallest element volumes that surround a node". So far so good, makes sense. Now when I want to display the Element Volume ratio with an isovolume with Mode = above value and value = 20 and WITHOUT checking the inclusive box, approximately 5 volumes are displayed. When I CHECK the inclusive box then 1000 volumes get displayed. Now my question: What does that inclusive check box do? I have read the ansys post doc page 163 where the inclusive check box is explained. The made example in the ansys post documentation with the x coordinate as a variable makes sense, but how does that transfer to the element volume ratio? Thanks for your answer and have a nice day |
