Hi All,

I having having a problem with a parallel run. The model is a combustion case with 2.9 million cells. It runs fine in serial mode but when i try to run on parallel the solver freezes on the partioner stage. I have not had problems with any other runs in parallel mode although they have all been 2million or lower cells. When i eventually exit the solver manually the following error message appears:

"The CFX-5 partitioner could not be started, or exited with return code 255"

Can anyone please help?

I don't think anyone can easily answer your question if you don't give out more details such as type of machine used, operating systems, message library (PVM or MPI etc).

Do you have a license to run parallel solver?
