How to export mesh from ANSYS to ANSYS-CFX?

Hi, after few year with ANSYS, my company has just bought a new license for ANSYS 10.0 together with ANSYS-CFX. I have just started to work with this CFX program but I have encountered already problems with mesh import. How do I export a mesh from ANSYS to ANSYS-CFX? Help menu from this program gives several import options but none from ANSYS! Is that then possible?
Thanks a lot! Neus- still a naive user |

You save the mesh as a .gdm file from CFX-Mesh, then go into CFX-Pre, Create new simulation, File > Import Mesh... Open the .gdm file.
Too simple ;-) ? /C |

save the model with mesh in ANSYS as nodes and elements.then in CFX-pre click the mesh tab and select the import options u shud see ANSYS there select tat.then the select the mesh file and say import. it shud wrk out.
once u define the physics then create the .res file it will store the mesh file.gtm in the same name as ur simulation. thanx |
