Hello friends i have this problem...
as i doing computations for my work , the results for Transition free and Transition are comeing exactly same... as they r not supposed not for my model. i am doing simulations using cfx-10,for my SST turbulance model and Mach 0.3. why i am getting same results? what are the points i need to consider for it while running simulations? please give me some information.....very much urgent Thanks a lot Hari krihna |

Take a look at the variable "Turbulence Intermittency" in CFX-Post; 0 = Laminar, 1 = Turbulent. Do you have any Laminar boundary layers? If you don't see any Laminar boundary layers then check your mesh to make sure you have YPlus = 1 or less. If you don't see the variable "Turbulence Intermittency" then you are not running the transition model correctly. Check that you picked the Gamma Theta option when picking the Turbulent Transition model. Regards, Mike
