Hello Guys,
the following Problem. I need for a small piece of my geometry a fine structured mesh. If i choose a unstructered mesh the solver has no problem and it works but if i choose multizone as a method the Error of the picture appears. I put another picture in the post, where you can see the geometrie and the mesh. Im just a Student and not a pro with ansys meshing. But what could be the Solution and what can i do? Thanks a lot greetings LCash |

It doesn't seem to be CFX. Anyway, in CFX when user create structured mesh using block, he has to convert it to unstructured form. (it is just RClick on mesh and on drop down there is an option then you replace with the original mesh)

The problem is exactly what the error messages tells you it is.
You have defined a symmetry boundary condition on a surface which is not planar. You should load your def file in CFD-Post and look at your symmetry boundary. Is it correctly defined? Usually this error occurs when other surfaces get added to the symmetry boundary face.
