1) Does somebody know how should format data to import a bundle of points? 2) Why Do Ansys products cannot import iges-file where are only points? I can easily import surfaces and solids. Why can't I do the same with points?

I dont know how to import only points. But if you need points you can use Geometry->RepairGeometry->Build Diagnostic topology feature. ICEM will create points at intersections and curve ends etc.

The problem is: I create 100 points in CAD-package and then save it as IGES-file. Then I try to import this file to ICEM and get an error. If I create curve of surface in CAD package and try to import it, it's okay. Why do point can't be imported in ICEM (I tried to import point to DesignModeler - don't work)

1. Save points in the text file. (x y z) 2. At first line write number of points (100). 3. In ICEM-CFD: File > Import > Formatted point data.
