Hello to everybody. As I said to my previus message I am new in cfd programms and I haven't yet buy one. So I trying through you to get some real answers (and I really appreciate your time and your effort), cause FLUENT and CFX, try to indicate me that the software of their company is the best solution for me.
I am studying buildings with double skin facades and is important to me to have as inputs for my simulations the climatic data of building's region. This means that I need to have as inputs solar radiation, ambient temperature, humitidy, wind loads to describe the external conditions. Can CFX read climatic data or I have to make my own subroutines with CEL. And if so, really, how easy is to use CEL? |

Hi Apostolos,
CEL is as easy as writing an equation. Basically, if you have an equation that describes what you want, use it. Solar radiation can be handled easily in this manner. Any additional data that can be put into a table can also be loaded easily. Sice the ambiant temperature, humidity etc. will vary, you will probably use tables to describe these. Regards, Robin |
