How to properly use the Virtual Topology?

Hello to everyone! Could somebody who successfully used Virtual Topology (VT), advise please:
Once I created a VT face, it says it cannot merge the areas, but does not say which ones. I examine the auto-created VT edges, and do not like them, as they are only a part of actual edges between a newly created VT face and other faces or betwee neighbouring VT faces. Also some of them are locked. DO not know if it is OK or wrong. Rather than VT faces, should I create VT edges first? What is your algoythm of using VT, please? Thank you Iann |
