hello,
anybody every tried Particle User Source sub-routine? CFX help gives a subroutine example, I copied it to a file and compiled it in CFX5.7, but it doesn't work. I looked through the code. There are some weired parts like some undefined variables. Do CFX people just give an untested routine for demo or I miss something? Please refer to Page 222 on Solver Modelling. Thanks! |

Dear Wayne,
I guess you're trying to implement the Schiller-Naumann drag coefficient given in the example, using the Lagrangian particle transport model? You have to make sure that the arguments in the FORTRAN subroutine are ordered in the same way as CFX calls them. You can find the correct order from the .out file, i.e: Argument Variables List = Density,Velocity, particle.Mean Particl\ e Diameter, particle.Particle Reynolds Number, particle.Particle Slip Velocit\ y,particle.Velocity I think this order is different to that given in the example in the manual. Hope this helps SC |
