Hello everyone
I had a problem while setting timestep for rotating rotor at 100000 rev/min which takes 0.0006 seconds to complete one revolution when I was setting time step less than 0.0006s and saving each timestep as a result file in cfx post rotor wasn't rotating now when I set timestep 0.0002s and save every 3 trn files rotor is rotating in cfx post. Could you tell me why? Best regards Giorgi |

There is an option in post to transform the mesh according the rotation I think. It might be set up differently for .trn and full results by default, causing it to rotate or not rotate depending on the ouput type.

If you only have one rotating domain this one will not appear to rotate in post, It will only rotate if you have at least two domains connected with a transient rotor-stator connection, This said I think that something can surely be done, as you can do almost anything in post.

I have this type of connection and domain is rotating but at some specific timesteps it appears to be fixed
