I want to simulate a flow field in a tube, the mainstream is ideal air,I want to add a tracer gas like CO2 at inlet, but I failed to do so. Can you guys tell how to do in CFX 17.2? Thx.

If it is just a tracer then an additional variable is the normal choice. Only use a different material when the different material has a significant effect.
Please post an image of what you are modelling. But before you do, make sure you have done the CFX tutorials. You need to know how to use the software before you start.
