Dear all,
I am dealing with a geometry which includes a huge number of bodies. It is more than 2 days that I am waiting for Ansys Meshing to open the geometry. My question is that how I can speed up this process. Does share topology can open any doors here? Any ideas? Best Regards |

Wow, you are very patient. Are you using the latest version of ANSYS (2019R1)? If you are using the latest version then it could be worthwhile reporting this as a feature request/bug report. If you are using an older version then don't bother, upgrade to the current version and try again.
I am not not sure what could be done to speed this up. Certainly try the things you suggest. Also, I do all my complex and large meshing in ICEM as it handles complex stuff much better than ANSYS Mesh. So ICEM could be another thing to try - but be aware that ICEM is very different and will require some effort to learn.
