When I run CFX5.7 solver in PVM local parallel mode, CFX prompts that:

"An error has occurred in cfx5solve:

Cannot get current PVM configuration: error calling PVM or unknown table format:

pvmd already running.

An error has occurred in cfx5solve:

Cannot locate current host in host list!"

I don't know how to solve this problem. Anyone could help me?

Go to /tmp or /temp remove the pvmd deamon there. Check your CFX5 directory where the lists of hosts are listed to make sure you have the host for parallel simulation identified if runing windows make sure you have the IP address of your parallel computer listed. make sure you have installed pvm on all the host computers
