Hi fiends,
I want to know whether the ICEM CFD, software for mesh generation, can be used without loading the Ansys Workbench? Can somebody tell me wether i can use ICEM for mesh generation like CFX 5.6 Build which i am using presently? Do we need to have different settings to ICEM? With regards Tuks |

What OS you're referring to? We use ICEM 5.1 without workbench as we're running it on SGI. Refer to your installation manual for details. It shouldn't be a problem. I think if you type icemcfd under your ICEM directory, you should be able to load it straight away.

I use ICEM CFD Hexa without the workbench (thank God, the workbench crashes on me if I do a little bit out of the ordinary).
