Hi everyone,

i am runnig a parallel session (3x WinXP , 2GB RAM) with 3 Mio. Hexas in PVM Distributed Parallel mode. From time to time the calculation stops with the following error message:

+---------------------------------------------------------------+

ERROR #333000014 has occurred in subroutine RCVBUF.

Message:

Problems receiving a PVM-buffer from part. 2 to part. 1

PVM-error flag from notifying missing partition: -31

+---------------------------------------------------------------+

Does anynoe know what's the reason for this behaviour?

Thanks in advance

This error sometimes occure because the Master node has lost contact with one of the slave nodes. Normally if this happens, your simulation will terminate. Is this your experience ?
