How can I solve the transport equation for an additional variable in the solid domain? I see only the Agebaric equation in the Option for Additional Variable of Solid Models.

What version of the CFX-Solver are you using?
The Diffusive Transport equation (that is Transient + Diffusion) is available via CCL only in CFX-5.7.1 and the upcoming ANSYS CFX 10.. The setup is identical than for a fluid domain. You cannot do conjugate AV transfer across fluid-solid domain interfaces in CFX-5.7.x Good luck, Juan Carlos |

I using CFX-5.7.1; I want to know how can it solve the diffusive transport equation in solid domain? and how do I setup them. Thank you so much.

Hi,
I too want to know whether it is possible to define mass balance for solid in CFX.I am dealing with heat and mass transfer with chemical reaction in porous media. With Regards, ARVIND |
