Hi, Many thanks to Glenn for solving my earlier query. I did the same thing to generate the prism and it worked. However a small problem yet, I extruded the tet-surface mesh in z-direction to form the prism elements. But i wanted to give symmetry boundary conditions on front and back faces. When i did it CFX crashed until unless i broke the each prism elements in 3 layers (i just want to decrease the number of elements)!! why ? Could i not give symmetry on front and back in single element and still solve the problem !! many thanks for help regards, Ashish
