hi friends,

I am having shaft bending moment and torque details for discrete times (practical values) in exel sheet. Is it possible to directly give exel r text sheet as a input in Ansys software. my ultimate aim is to find stresses because of extrme loads and fatigue. pls anyone knows reply m ya

Hello everybody,
I use this old post in order to ask pratically the same question:
I`m working with CFX and I want ask you if is possible put in input (transient simulation) a series of value of pressure coming from experimental results, which basically I`m not able to build a function-time expression.
Thanks.

The original question is about ANSYS FEA. No wonder he did not get a response, wrong forum.

Your question is about doing a pressure versus time function. This is easy in CFX, use a 1D interpolation function and use that function as the pressure for a boundary condition. This is covered in the tutorials.
