Hi Everybody
Iam a linux guy setting up CFX 5.7 on RedHat Enterprise Linux WS 3.0 . In our setup, CFX 5.7 solver has a problem of obtaining license from the remote servers before it looks into the local server. This problem was solved by editing .flexlmrc by pointing to the local server and then to the remote server in case of license unavailability on the local servers. It ran successfully for two weeks and now it started again taking license from the remote servers in u.s before looking on local servers . Looks like a bug only in solver. pl help me on getting this problem solved. Thanks balaji.k |

Hi,
If you suspect you have found a bug in the software then you should contact your CFX support. Also note the current version of the code is 5.7.1 and the latest version of the code may have fixed the problem. Glenn Horrocks |
