Hi all,

I am using CFX5.7 to solve building ventilation problem. The solver stops quite often with the following messages (doesn't repeat, just randomly crashing).

=================

An error has occurred in cfx5solve: The CFX-5 solver could not be started, or exited with return code 255: No results file has been created

An error has occurred in cfx5solve: Unable to retrieve mon from working directory: Cannot move to h:\workbench\dininghall\cfx5sim\dininghallsim1_001 \mon: Permission denied

Warning! An error has occurred during creation of a directory for additional output files. To avoid losing results, the working directory h:\workbench\dininghall\cfx5sim\dininghallsim1_001 .dir will be kept at the end of the run. Please tidy this directory up yourself when you have extracted what you need from it. The following user files have been saved in the directory h:\workbench\dininghall\cfx5sim\dininghallsim1_001 : mon

=================

Anyone comes across this problem before? It wasn't disk space problem and it doesn't happen in other PCs within my working institute, just constantly happens on my machine. Thanks for your help very much.

Regards, Forrest

Thank you, wilson

This problem also happens when i am running on local drive. Not sure if this way can bypass the effect of the Server.
