Hi,

Fluid structure interaction does not require a fortran compiler. It does require an ANSYS FEA license.

The fortran compiler used by CFX is discussed in the documentation in the installation notes.

But Tutorial 20: Fluid structure interaction and mesh deformation requires that a Fortran compiler is required for Junction Box Rouitne. For Linux it states that PortLAnd Group Compiler must be installed. I want to know what is required for Windows platform.

Thanks.

I'm sure you need the compaq visual fortran compiler Ver 6.5 above(the manual says)! When I run case17.(HVAC) I use V6.6 and it's OK!

U do not require any specific compiler for CFX 5.7. But in case u r using SUB ROUTINES than u may require COMPAQ VISUL FORTRAN compiler .Also CFX is more compatible with Fortran - 77.
