Can a steady state problem be initialized with another steady state solution to speed up convergence? I have difficulty to obtain convergence close to stall operating point. Can it improve the speed of convergence?

Certainly it can improve initialization.
Using the solver manager, you can interpolate any result file on any definition file. Interpolate a car on a boat. CFX will do. If it is wise to do, that is a question. The more the interpolated initial guess looks like the final result, the better. |
